Rachei exists to help small groups split shared expenses inside Telegram. This page explains, in plain English, what data we keep, why, and what you can do with it.

What we store

When you send a message in a group where the bot is present we keep: your numeric Telegram user id, your display name, the chat id, the expense text, the amount, the currency, and the detected category. That's it. We don't ask for your phone number, don't read your contacts, and don't keep messages that aren't expenses.

What we use it for

Strictly to compute balances, generate reports, and render them in the web dashboard. None of it is used for advertising, behavioral profiling, or sale to third parties.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. The only third parties involved are the technical infrastructure the product runs on: Telegram (message delivery), Supabase (Postgres database), Render (server hosting), and language-model providers (Hugging Face and Google) — they receive only the text of the message you send, and only to interpret the expense.

How long we keep it

Your expenses live as long as you want them to. Send /forget in any group and we delete everything that's yours — records you created, your participation in shared splits, your row in the member list — no email needed.

Your rights

You can request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. /forget already covers deletion. For the others, email salvatoregames@gmail.com.
